Planning a
network and coordinating with local vendors for providing VSat
link to customers operating in remote locations in Pakistan.
Planning and implementing all civil work for Satellite dish
installation and cable routing. Coordinating with vendor at site
during installation for proper test-out and commissioning of the
VSat link, end to end with 24hrs BERT test. Planning and
configuring bandwidth manager for required channels and their
speeds. Interfacing with data systems and LAN Router at both
ends for final commissioning and coordinating with their vendors
for required software configuration. After commissioning,
providing in-house Satellite circuit test out facility for local
and remote loop back test and BERT test for prompt ascertaining
of circuit or interface equipment problems |

VSat Modem, Multiplexer/bandwidth manager, Tie-card and
LAN Router/DTU and concluding remedy. When required
immediate coordination with vendors for requisite remedy
and prompt take up of installation of alternate equipment
or repairs to replace faulty equipment as required.
Maintain at customer premises the required level of
inventory for backup equipment from local or imported
source. Routine maintenance and servicing of the out-door
and in-door equipment. |
