NEW
WINDOWS BASED 32 BIT COMMUNICATION EMAIL SOFTWARE
How it works - A series of email accounts would be
established at the base station mail server, one of each
remote site. Message can organize within the LAN or be
received via the internet. The base station communication
program in windows based and would work under windows 98
or NT 4.0. It would translate the email address for each
remote site into a call sign, and queue the messages for
forwarding via radio. Either remote site or the base
station can initiate the Radio connection to exchange
messages and attachment files either manually or per a
schedule. Remote Site software is also Windows based.
Messages from one remote site to another could be either
sent directly or via
the base station.
The compressed binary data is sent as blocks of 250
characters, if the link is lost them transmission
resumes with the next block on the reconnection. Messages
are not marked as delivered until a confirmation is
received. This is all based on new HF Data protocols,
which have been highly developed over the years. The 16
Bit CRC code for error connection in used.
